This program is specially designed to give kids the fun and worry free environment to learn drama without the drama.

Acting for English speaking kids age 9-12
At MY STAGE we believe that performing arts education is of crucial importance for a child's future success in all areas of private and professional life. The skills developed in acting classes such as team work, listening and observation skills, speaking in public, tolerance, character analysis and many others, are the lifelong learning skills your child will keep using for the rest of her/his life.
Our courses are carefully designed for kids of all abilities. Classes are held in a supportive and non-competitive environment with focus on developing one's potential to the personal maximum.
Our teachers are skilled and experienced educators, and understand that each individual is different and needs a unique approach. Positive self-image is enforced at all times and constructive critique is given to all.

Eleven 60 minute sessions, Mondays, 5 - 6pm
In this course children will be introduced to the fundamentals of acting through the acting games and exercises. The program is designed to be fun and is taught in supportive, non-competitive environment.
The concepts of team work, mutual respect and positive critique are introduced and children are encouraged to let themselves "be silly" in order to break out of unnecessary self-control. This is a great start to any acting program as it is a wonderful way to build self confidence. A popular and fun class, filling fast, Limited to 12 participants.
Written evaluations for each child are issued at the end of the course.

Kids Take the Stage - part 1
Eleven 60 minute sessions, Mondays, 5 - 6pm at StudioChekhov, Gajeva 10

In the first 11 weeks of this 19 week course the children will act, dance and sing their heart out on stage.
Our carefully planned classes for children cover every aspect of their creativity, making sure that their body, voice, mind and imagination work together towards expressing the ideas and emotions through drama.

With the help of acting games and exercises we will be learning the skills needed for confident stage presence. By taking a children's fable or a fairy tale as a starting point we will develop a short play with dance and song which will be acted out on stage at the end of Kids Take the Stage - part 2

Kids take the Stage - part 2
Eight 60 minute sessions, Mondays, 5 - 6 pm at StudioChekhov, Gajeva 10

This is the continuation of the course Kids Take the Stage - part 1.
The priority enrolment will be offered to the kids already enrolled in part 1.
In these eight weeks we will focus on rehearsals for the end-of-year production.
Kids will perform on a real stage with music, costumes, lights and audience.
The details about the final performance will be posted at a later date.
